Bio (short)
My name is Jayson Lorenzen and I am a Software Engineer in San Francisco. I try my hand at writing short stories and music as well as a little photography and basically have this site to share my attempts of each of these with you. Then, in my spare time I enjoy rolling around on the floor with my 2 year old son, and riding my bicycles ( another link for my bikes ).
This is my home (fun) blog. Please visit my tech blog: http://tech.monjayaki.org for professional matters.

monjayaki.org FAQ:
- Q: What is monjayaki.org?A: It is my domain.
- Q: Why Monjayaki?A: First because I love Monjayaki. but also because the idea of Monja is kind of like a personal website, a little bit of pretty much anything thrown in and mixed up to make something interesting (hopefully).
- Q: Why “dot org”, are you a non-profit?A: Well monjayaki.com was taken and “.org” was available. I do some open source or creative commons type works and plan to distribute from here from time to time so “.org” seemed to fit better than “.net” since I do not plan to do hosting. Oh and also, yes this is completely non-profit; I get absolutely no monetary rewards for doing this
- Q: Do you at least have some information about Monjayaki on this site?A:Yes see the Monjayaki Page
