A while ago, a band (Midnight.Haulkerton), recorded a song based on a collection of short stories by Cory Doctorow. Cory releases all his works, including
Overclocked, under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 license and so this band have also released their song, and all the individual tracks, under a CC license for us to remix, use, or whatever.
When working on videos I usually use songs I should not, and for one about SF that I am working on at the momen, I decided to use something that I can legally use. I had seen this one on Cory’s site and download it, remixed it for my needs and am posting the resulting MP3 and , as with open source software, the source (tracks) in the form of a Garageband project. The video will be coming soon, hang. The ZIP archive contains the Tracks and the MP3.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.
BTW, I want to rant about Cory Doctorow but see Jeremy’s blog (from my blogroll) as he has ranted on and on and I would only be quoting him. Bottom line though, Cory’s writing is GREAT!!!! Buy his books (you can download first and check em out, but support the man).
